The image is drawn at the width and height written in the SVG. If the file doesn't state a size, your browser picks a default, which can be small. So a tiny SVG gives a tiny picture. To get a larger one, raise the width and height in the SVG, or enlarge the result with Image Resizer, keeping in mind that enlarging a PNG makes it soft.
A few things can differ from what you see in a design tool. Text uses fonts installed on your device, so convert text to outlines in your editor first. Pictures linked from other files don't load. An animated SVG saves as a single still image.
